PrisymWM is able to use data from barcodes or RFID tags to monitor and manage kerbside recycling programs.  There are significant benefits offered by both methods and it will depend on your individual requirements which option is the best for your system.

  • Most existing RFID technology is compatible with PrisymWM - existing RFID tags embedded in bins can be utilised
  • RFID option reduces crew handling requirements – handheld scanning only required if a bin cannot be moved to the truck
  • RFID tags can be embedded for the life of the bin
  • Barcode systems are low cost and simple to implement
  • Barcode labels can carry text such as address or telephone numbers
